Sephora Favorites

A complete guide to my favorite Sephora items and a list of those that are on my wish list!

Today I’m sharing my favorite items from the Sephora Spring Sale (use code SPRINGSAVE) which is going on now! Currently VIB’s can save 15% off of their entire purchase. Beginning next week Insiders will be able to save 10%. If you aren’t part of Sephora’s reward system, you won’t be able to have access to this sale. However, ANYONE can become an Insider to save – all you need to do is sign up with an email address! Rouge members get the week ahead of VIB members to save 20%, and if you purchase from Sephora very regularly this is an easy status to achieve.

The Sephora Sale happens once in the spring and once in the fall, but other than that these products will RARELY go on sale. I recommend stocking up on favorites during this time. I also like to pick out a couple of new products to try. Somehow I don’t feel as bad buying new products to try when I’m saving a little bit of money.

I typically don’t buy a lot of skincare products from Sephora because I use medical-grade skincare and order TULA products. But on this list I did include a couple of skincare products I really like. Let’s start with the basics: my favorite products. These are products I use on a DAILY basis (not just every once-in-awhile) and can recommend with confidence that they really work the way they should.

I’ve listed these in categories (in no particular order) to make finding a product you’re searching for a little easier. Just click on the product name and the link should take you right to the website! When you shop using my links, I receive a small commission. I only promote products I actually use and love! You can also shop all of my beauty and style finds on my SHOP MY STYLE tab !

Hair Favorites

1. Living Proof Dry Shampoo – I love this dry shampoo SO much. It actually leaves my hair feeling clean and smells so good.

2. Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner – These are by far my favorite shampoo and conditioner I think I’ve ever tried. They actually do what they say they do – work together to make my hair feel more hydrated and strong. The smell is a huge bonus.

3.  Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother – This is a great heat protector and styling cream that I use before I blow dry my hair. It makes my hair feel so healthy and hydrated.

4. Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil – This oil will last FOREVER because you only need 1-2 drops each use. It’s a heat protector that you use before flat-ironing or curling.

Eye Makeup

Here are my top eye makeup suggestions. I love these palettes because they are SO versatile and can easily be used for daytime or nighttime makeup. You really only need one palette to do many different looks.

1. Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette – This one has such beautiful colors! I think it’s perfect for any skin tone and I love the lighter colors for a highlighted brow bone and inner corner.

2. Tartelette Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette – I love the formula of this palette- the tarte eyeshadows are always so smooth and easy to apply without making a big mess. The colors of this palette are beautiful pinks, purples, and browns and look great on green eyes!

3. Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette – I think this is the BEST eyeshadow palette with neutral colors. I would suggest this one to any skin tone.. The browns, gold, and lighter colors complement any eye color. This is a staple palette in my opinion!

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz or Brow Definer – I like both of these so much! I use the color taupe. The brow wiz is more of a thin pencil and the definer is a thicker crayon-type product, but both have a nice formula that applies smoothly and stays put all day. I get the color: taupe.

Other Makeup Favorites

Here are the “other” makeup items (bronzers, foundations, etc.) that I love and use on a daily basis. These are the best of the best and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

1. It! Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF50+ – This tinted moisturizer is medium coverage and protects against UVA and UVB rays. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel greasy which I really like.

2. Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation – This. Foundation. Y’all. If I was only going to buy one foundation it’d be this. It really does last ALL day. Pro tip: mix a little bit of CC cream with it to keep your skin hydrated all day long.

3. Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer – I love this formula because it is so smooth. Apparently it’s water proof (I guess I didn’t realize that until I read the name on Sephora’s site) so it’s longer as well. I use it to lightly contour.

4. Becca Skin Love Blur & Brightening Primer – Quite possibly the best, most weightless primer I have ever used.

5. Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer – I really like the cooling sensation of this under-eye primer. It helps with dark circles and fine lines and keeps my under eye concealer from gathering in my creases.

6. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand (in color Spotlight) – The best highlighter ever made. It is so bright and adds so much to finish a makeup look, whether it’s barely-there makeup or full-on datenight glam. I cannot suggest this one enough! This is a liquid highlighter. I love to use on the inner corners of my eye to brighten up my face!

7. Laura Mercier Under Eye Brightening Powder – This is really great for setting your under eye concealer and keeping it from creasing. I also really like how it brightens up my eye area just enough, but not too much! I also use this on my eyelid when I’m not wearing eye makeup to color correct.

8. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick (in Bitch Perfect or Pillow Talk) – These shades are very beautiful on every skin tone and I love the feel of this lipstick. It’s a matte finish but doesn’t dry out my lips and lasts several hours! I always have one of them in my purse.

9. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – This one leaves my lips feeling so soft and hydrated in the morning. I love this for wintertime but will use it year-round!

My Wish List

These are products I have either ordered already and can’t wait to try, or would still love to try in the near future. So if my husband is reading, I’m dropping birthday present hints here.

1. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm – I ordered this and have heard such good things! It has a vanilla flavor/scent which is my favorite and I think I will use it daily when I’m not wearing lipstick.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow Duo – I cannot wait to try this! I love all things Charlotte Tilbury and have heard this is a good product. It has a bronzer and highlighter in one palette for easy contouring. I think this is going to be a good travel set since it’s all-in-one!

3. Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops – These have been all OVER the place so I finally ordered some to try in the shade medium. You just use one to two drops mixed with your moisturizer and supposedly end up a bronze goddess. We shall see!

4. Tatcha Water Cream –  This is supposed to be a very, very good moisturizer that helps with tone and texture thanks to Japanese ingredients. I would love to try this one out!

5. Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas – a primer built on Japanese ingredients/methods that supposedly leaves your skin like a baby’s butt totally ready for smooth makeup application. Would love to try this one sometime!
