Verb Products have been saving my hair the past several weeks and I’m so excited to share these affordable professional hair products with you! Shampoo and conditioner that are quality, professional products, that also don’t break the bank, are hard to find.
Protecting my hair from damage between colors and styles is important to me because I want to protect my investment. So, I’m pretty particular when it comes to hair products because I want to use something that professionals trust.
It can be hard to distinguish which hair product brands are truly quality – some brands still have chemicals like sulfates, don’t protect from UV or heat damage, or aren’t actually very good quality.
Hello Verb Products!
Within the last several months, the salon I go to began carrying and using Verb Products. Another friend of mine, who is also a blogger/influencer, was also posting about Verb Products a lot on her Instagram stories and I was interested.
For a week or so during the COVID-19 quarantine, my salon was running a sale on their in-stock products, so I sent a quick message to my stylist. (Shoutout to Hailey, the best stylist and blonde balayage artist in Tulsa.) I asked her which products she’d recommend for my fine hair (it’s fine but I have a LOT of hair). I wanted new shampoo and conditioner that was protective, cruelty free/clean, and would tame my flyaways without weighing my hair down.
My stylist recommended the Verb Ghost Shampoo and Ghost Conditioner, and the Ghost Dry Oil (spray). I also picked up the Verb Ghost Oil to try. These products are really great for fine hair because they are lightweight and don’t weigh fine hair down.
Verb Products offer Inclusive Hair Care
One of the things I love so much about the Verb Ghost Products is that they are great for all hair types and textures. Some of the key ingredients are quinoa protein, green tea extract, moringa seed oil, and sunflower seed oil. These specific products tame, protect, repair, and moisturize without weighing the hair down.
I love that Verb Products include people of color as hair models all over their website. In light of recent events, it’s important to me to point that out because I feel good about supporting the Verb brand and what they stand for. Not only do they create products that serve everyone, Verb includes a wide representation of women on their website.
Verb Products Are Very Affordable
Verb Products are very affordable and that is a huge perk for salon-quality hair products. I was previously paying as much for one product as I do now for both the Verb Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner. (They’re $18 each.)
Another way you can affordably test these out is by ordering their sample sizes. They have sample sizes for both the Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner (at only $9 a bottle). I like that you can try them for yourself without feeling overcommitted to a large, expensive bottle of shampoo.
Quality Professional Products – Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner
I am really impressed with the quality of the Verb Products Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner. In the shower, the shampoo lathered up really nicely and the scent is heavenly (grapefruit and oatmeal, according to their website). A shampoo with a bad smell immediately turns me off- this one passes the smell test! And the conditioner was just the right amount of hydrating without making my hair feel oily or over-saturated with product.
Verb Products Ghost Shampoo
With the Ghost Shampoo I don’t feel like I need to use a lot of product (or wash more than once) to get my hair really clean. Usually I wait a few days between washes and have used several products. With other shampoos I typically need to shampoo twice to make sure my hair feels really clean. That isn’t the case with this Verb Ghost Shampoo.
The Ghost Shampoo’s ingredients are also reparative, hydrating, and protective. Aloe vera helps soothe the scalp and balance the pH of hair and sunflower seed oil has fatty acids to help protect. Moringa oil is fast-absorbing, so it acts as a lightweight hydrating ingredient in this conditioner.
Verb Ghost Conditioner
The Verb Ghost Conditioner is also a good amount of hydrating without leaving residue behind. A good rule of thumb is, if a conditioner leaves your hair feeling “slick”, it’s because it’s leaving a lot of product behind in your hair. It can also start to build up really easily and cause hair to feel too greasy or “gunky”.
The Ghost Conditioner’s key ingredients make it appropriate for all hair types and textures. Some of the key ingredients are quinoa protein, green tea extract, moringa seed oil, and sunflower seed oil. These specific products in the Ghost Conditioner tame, protect, repair, and moisturize without weighing the hair down.
I’m Hooked on Verb Shampoo and Conditioner
I’m now hooked on Verb Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner. I love the Ghost Oil and the Ghost Dry Oil, but I’ll save that for another post.
The affordability, transparency, inclusivity, and quality of Verb is really unmatched. On top of that, to be trusted by hair care professionals really is the icing on the cake.
